LIMA

Lima is derived from the Swahili words 'Kulima' (to farm) and 'Wakulima' (farmers). It represents who we are and what we do. 90% of our staff originates from the villages we work in. Come and visit us on our 170 hectare farm named Elton Farm of which almost half is preserved as indigenous forest.

Celebrating 22 years of excellence!

As we mark our 22nd anniversary, we reflect on a journey filled with milestones, achievements, and growth. Since our founding in 2002, we’ve been committed to establish sustainable agriculture together with our smallholders.

Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Carbon news

Lima is working hard to set-up a large scale carbon credit project with tens of thousands of smallholder farmers in Tanzania. Our focus is on Nature Based Solutions 🌳: a solution which benefits both farmer, farm and the environment.

The Lima family

We have been working in Tanzania for more than 20 years. Most of our management staff has been with us since the start

The products we sell

We give market access to our smallholder farmers, semi-process their crops and export them.
